Ghost of Christmas past—
a wreath with scarlet ribbon,
no one notices…

  1. In a Shadowland,
    Shaded by a red ribbon,
    A wreath is a wraith.

    Cheers!

  2. Great shot and words as always! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!

  3. Interesting shot with a tiny shadow of the lantern top catching my eye.

I like your words accompanying the photo. Happy Shadow Shot Sunday to you.

  4. Fascinating! Both poem and photo! The fact that the wreath is on the lamp rather than the front door seems to symbolise a light connecting the past with the present. And no one notices the symbolism?

  5. I stopped by to wish you a blessed 2010! Thanks for your dedication to students and for encouraging us along the way. I did manage an end-of-year post!

    God bless you :)

  6. Hey there,
I am late to visit you but at least I come and never forget you.

Ghost? I see this is a magical shot. Or, as I adore Christmas?
Loving the wreath hanged on that wall lamp.

    Gorgeous!!!

    Happy SSS
