And a hint of shadow, for balance.
Why, yes–just a hint!
Beautiful – and spare.
Going to see D.C.’s famed
cherry blossoms – soon.
Outstanding capture.
The the tiny little flowers and the tiny little shadows. This is such a lovely shot and set up perfectly. Love it!
A joy to see.
Beautiful. I like that the plants are using the boulder as shelter from the heat and dryness.
Thanks for the visit, and the poem!
The wanting to survive! Great find! And thanks for the visit!

Pizza Night

Life Moto – Happy Monday!
Flowers are a thing of beauty wherever found. But in a desert they add much needed colour to a drab setting.
Lovely!
dainty survivors!love the poem you left in my blog:) thanks for visiting. have a good week!
Rock, flowers and foliage,
light adding shadow to sand,
all amounts to beauty.
Thank you,
Sue x
I seems an unlikely location to see a flower blooming. I like how the flower shadows peek over the rock.
Indeed…a bit of desert paradise for both … your visitors AND the wildflower.
First of the Amaryllis Blooming
Beautiful flowers.
What delicate little flowers there are in Paradise!
They look very delicate, I think I have never seen such flowers.
great interpretation of paradise
Those flowers are lovely. So delicate against the rough rocks. Are they growing through a crack in cement? Very interesting.
Peace!
I love all the mystery in this photo. it’s deep and lovely.
nice shot, flowers in the drought..only means spring is nearing in your place…
Fabulous Tuesday to you..;)
thanks for the visit and comment
I love the shadow it looks like a little hill.
Lovely shadow made by that spiny little cactus. Excellent!!! And, of course, I loved your Better Than Bling and Fragments of Light limericks. Very clever!!! Mickie
Beautiful shot. Love the feeling of the flowers surviving amongst the rocks.
