Wilderness, my love—
from you both deadly poison
and its anodyne.

lovely I really like the word anodyne
I had to use the dictionary to make sure I knew the meaning of ‘anodyne’, but I knew at first glance that your picture is marvelous.
Sorry for let your all wait all day for me to post ” HIMMELSK # 35″, but “Blogspot” had problems and there was nothing for me to do…
Very nice shot!
It is so nice to see a sunny post. Have a great week. E
I did the same thing as the commentor above and looked up the word anodyne. You are — magically and mysteriously — teaching us all something every day. And so beautifully.
A lovely photo, and a perfect haiku borne from it…I thoroughly enjoyed both!

This is beautiful! Love the photo.
As one who is involved in caring for elderly parents and writing about it, I’ve learned that keeping our minds challenged and active is a great way to help stave off Alzheimers Disease and dementia symptoms. One way I love to do that is with word puzzles so I very much appreciated your lovely picture and words, which also led me to the dictionary and now I’ve learned a new one. Thank you
Words that compliment a beautiful picture. Thanks.
That’s a powerful combination…your haiku leaves me with all sorts of insight. I can imagine your love as a woman, barren and devoid of emotions, hurtful…’poison’- but she is also what you need to soothe your angst. I do get carried away, don’t I? Haha.

Ah, yes! Love to see a sunny post and the perfect words to match as always! Enjoy your day!!

Fantastic…and yes, we had to look up anodyne as well (thought it was something like that…thinking antidote!) Thanks for a great picture…and making us think a bit
Wilderness woman
you have everything you need.
picture perfect…colors blending and complimenting each other…lovely!!
Wonderful shot of the yucca.
What a wonderful poem and picture! They compliment each other perfectly.
When I bigified your photo the flowers on top showed up beautifully!
But oh the candelabras are stunning at sunset with the muted oranges and pinks on the soft yellow blossoms.

Have a great week.
I just love looking at your pictures. They give me a view of a life I have never seen and a part of nature of which I know little. Thanks for all you do to teach me new things about our world.
Good one…
Gorgeous!
Shadows at my page, have a blessed Sunday!
I like that kind of plants,
and it looks nice against the clear blue sky!
