not wasting time on regret—
the way of wisdom.

Gentle summer rain—
how can it endanger me
or bring harm my way?

Lift your pen at dawn—
you will avoid the hazard
of the silent muse.

    the last is so true .. and if you hear it thunder dont go under a tree.. those wont be pennies from heaven, but, possibly this summer, hail and lightening! stay safe.

    I like the first stanza MMT! There is an element of learning through mistakes. It’s a wisdom not to lament mistakes. Life must go on! Great set of haiku, Ma’am!
