Steep, cobbled street

A street at dawn, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, México

  1. Haven’t you already…and if you have lost your way..MMT then that’s the first step to find your path…you are on your way.. God bless…

    I am here.. http://rameshsood.blogspot.in/2012/08/morning-sees-eyes-glow.html

  2. The empty streets allow us to imagine a bustling plaza well after sunrise. The humanity that may be lacking now, but we feel their presence in our minds. The day dawn with possibilities…

  3. I lost my way on a similar street in San Cristobal, Chiapas and can tell you it is a lovely route to finding the way.

  4. Ah, more wonderful memories of San Miguel!! You do provide some great ones! Great capture and wise words!! Enjoy your weekend!

  5. Is it your soul that shines, or is it the soul of that intriguing place? It’s both, I think…

  6. Yes, for you are following your soul…

  7. Perhaps you really aren’t lost? But what a beautiful site for a journey in to the unknown.

  8. Great haiku. It really is tough to find our way some days.

  9. I like the journey of the soul ~

  10. Lovely haiku depicting the truest meaning of our existence :-)

  11. Very nice…lovely essence of a soul journey.
    Peace,

  12. Enchanting moodiness in this view of the empty street!

  13. Beautiful scene. I love cobblestone streets, they are so cool. I guess the street was empty because it was early, I think I would have been a wee bit uneasy if I were alone.

  14. if you are on the cobblestones before dawn
    you are already home!

  15. I love this photo and haiku. It is troubled, familiar and an important part of the picture. Life would be very dull if it were all cocktail parties, white sand and palm trees. Finding the way. Some of us like the journey rather than the destination.Once you find the destination ,it’s over. This really struck a chord.Good one!

  16. I pray for that for both of us. Excellent Haiku for the lonely street!

  17. Journey of the soul most imminent in the early hours of dawn … I believe you will find your way! :D

  18. Beautiful. I like the journey of the soul idea.

  19. You took a metaphorical walk down a physical street, you and your metaphysical soul!

  20. It paints a funny picture in my head somehow… It’s unique to imagine a soul traverse through a materialistic world! Very well done!

  21. A lost soul is a mean thing. Show the way! Nicely done MMT!

  22. As your soul wanders
Which way shall it go when it
    Reaches the Cross roads?

    Cheers!

  23. As usual, thoughtful and apt; I like what Susan wrote about the two souls ;)
