Mesquite seed pods, Sonoran Desert, Southern Arizona
Soul of the mesquite,
hidden in each twisted pod,
nourish me with grace.

I have never seen these before very interesting. Thanks for sharing:)
What a wonderful photo. The lighting is great and the pods themselves are quite interesting, especially for someone who has not seen them before. Great Capture!!
just the cracking open and letting go is all the grace we need.
I am being cracked open, but I’m not sure about the seed pods!
absolutely love the soft colours here and the contortions in the seed pod – the haiku is the icing on the shot
Nice image of the plant !!
It was quite accidental, I assure you–the wind was blowing!
I had not seen the mesquite pods before either. I keep saying that due to bloggers, my education continues! Thanks for sharing such a lovely shot and enlightening me.
happy weekend!
I love to take picture of pods but most don’t come out as good as these. Great job.
Looks like tamarinds!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the haiku and picture – wow!
