Actually, I would welcome autumn and some cooler weather at this point. It was 101 here in the desert yesterday–and expected to go higher today!
Well it must then be music to your ears…enjoy and wait..and see if my haiku says something….

I do love an Autumn peck…
Nice! We had a very light week with our traditional haiku – a total contrast to the first time we did it, and broke participation records! hrm. Weird.
I think the light participation had more to do with many haiku poets participating in the September daily challenge at Haiku Heights than with a reticence to write traditional haiku. I guess we’ll find it out tomorrow, won’t we?
