I’m remembering a Robert Frost poem. “Good fences make good neighbors”, from Mending Wall. The one in your photo seems more like a barrier, yet isn’t that the purpose of a fence?

I don’t like fences, I don’t like walls, but sometimes they are necessary…
Deep haiku. A constricting faith is not true faith. Faith is Truth and truth makes people free.
