In the reading room,
a girl chooses a drab book
from the lowest shelf.
 
~~ ~~ ~~
 
In the reading room,
three ancient volumes pulsate
with dark runic rhymes.
 
~~ ~~ ~~
 
In the reading room,
she finds a tiny tendril
curling round one word.

    Reading rooms are magical places where whole worlds grow..makes me want to run to the darkest library corner and snuggle up with the most curious looking volume.,

    I want that word that the tendril is curling round. It is so great to find a word used in a different way to stimulate your senses.
