    That causes me to pause, peacefully. The butterfly had a thought. The butterfly’s thought is mine. The indigo bush is parched. How does the desire, and need for nectar overcome that fact?
    Really,a haiku. Very much. Parched against nectar.

    That would be a very brave butterfly to look for nectar in that landscape! Do you see butterflies in the desert?

      Actually, yes, there are butterflies in the Sonoran Desert. Not at the moment, but they will be coming along in a few weeks.

    I love the way the Indigo bush seems to be clawing at the clouds for moisture and I can almost see the clouds as a butterfly.

    WabiSabi brought up what I was going to question about butterflies in the desert. So do they appear only when there are blooms in the desert? amazing insects!
