Watery Wednesday: Creatures

These strange grey creatures—
are they stones, or whales sounding?
Can Turtle tell me?

Who can see beyond
the stones? The One whose vision
pierces flesh and bones.

I’m so glad the photo touched something in you. The day I took it was, as you can see, quite overcast, and I was disappointed in the low level of light. But looking at the photo later, I found it to be mysterious and inviting. So much for first impressions! Thank you for your kind words.

  5. I’m voting for stones,
“Til I see some strange creature
    Come out of its shell.

    Cheers!
