why she flees from stars and moon—

  1. What a beautiful connection to make between the hummingbird and the desert. ARE there hummingbirds in the desert? Truly gorgeous. I think this is one of your best.

  2. I read it.
    Then I read it again.
    Then I just let my eyes wander over the poem.
    Now I have this achy sense of the sublime stuck in my throat.
