  1. I like the way the mailbox is open just a little bit, waiting for that news. Cool angle, too!

  2. Love the cute little design on the side of the mailbox! And it seems like a mini mural on the front! Someone’s added a touch of personal fantasy! And the white contrasts beautifully against the blue of the sky! And the rural mailboxes do appear lonely and isolated!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. I like how the mailbox door is open a little bit as well. It dramatizes “waiting”. I like the white mailbox against the brilliant blue sky. I have always liked white and blue. Those two colors create a feeling of crispness.

  4. It looks as if it’s smiling bravely in the face of disappointment – no mail today!

  5. this mailbox is lovely. I’m intrigued, what is the white dots on the horizon… snow? clouds?

Very perceptive, you are! It’s snow you see in the distance, on the peaks of the San Juan Mountains in southern Colorado.
