Looks sorely neglected!!

Gemma, I discovered the defective link early this morning. Mr. Linky seems not to like me, because he “defected” my link on Mellow Yellow Monday as well. I’m beginning to develop a persecution complex! As you can see, I tried the 3-5-3 pattern for haiku/senryu in this cemetery scene. There’s power in brevity, and I’m enjoying the challenge of trying to say a lot with a very few words. What do you think? Does it work?

Well, at least Frank Charley has a spot of color on his horizon. What’s his story?
I never met him, so I guess his story can be whatever I want it to be! 😉
Well that really sad. At least there is that one lone red flower. Would love to know the story to this.

i tried to google it but couldn’t find anytbing.

Oh, Terry, there’s probably a sad story behind every grave. This one caught my eye because of the red lettering on the headstone. I’m not surprised that a Google search turned up nothing, because this is a pretty neglected cemetery. Someone else who lives in Farmington commented that she didn’t even know that the cemetery existed! Thanks for your visit!
