  2. It might just be me, and given my location and sentiments, but that’s correct, nothing is as pretty as the wide open spaces of the desert Southwest. Are they the Arizona red sands?

  3. Dear Teacher – your photo reminds me of how much I like yuccas. They are not too common up here and are mainly cultivated. Driving through the SoCal desert is always a pleasure, especially when they are in glorious bloom.

  4. Believe it or not, I have two yucca plants in our small front yard.

    They will bloom in about a week or so..
