  1. That cactus must have a lot of enemies to need that much protection!

  2. Definitely a cactus with attitude and a mellow yellow flower to sweeten the blow? Great shot!

  3. I try to use my attitude like the cactus uses its thorns. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

  4. aww never seen like that before! interesting!

    u may view mine here

  5. Beautiful flower on that very spiny plant!

  6. Here’s what I like – it’s danger, but with a flower. This could represent both sides of all of us at one time or another.

  7. Oh that is a cool one. happy mellow yellow Monday.

  8. Like cactus being protected, they are just sensitive or delicate type that needs the shield when someone attacks them…they’re guarded by those thorns…i wish im cactus hehehe

  9. Wow that is so pretty flower but look at the thorns it’s sharp. So nobody could pick it? Great shot! Happy Monday!

  12. Like many things in life- beautiful yet prickly.
Wants your attention but not your touch.

  13. Nasty spines on that one! But the flower is so soft and feathery looking. Interesting contrast.

  14. Cactus are beautiful even though dangerous 🙂 Love the haiku as well.
