We spent a couple of winters in Tucson and St Xavier was one of our favorite places to visit. So much history (not all of it easy to take) but I loved just sitting in the chapel and thinking about it all….your picture is very good; it is pretty dark in there for pictures, mine never did turn out as well.
thank you for supplying the link… cruised on over there and what an interesting historical read… changed hands a few times thou the spirit lives on… i’ve passed thru az a time or two, next time i will be sure to visit the white dove in the desert… the pictures link at the site are down due to construction… so happy that you exposed the foto on yr post.. when i magnified the foto i thought what a pretty dress that an angel would wear on a cloud… i imagine angels wear clothes too… loved yr poem.. that we would hear the spirit calling and heed the words he speaks… amen
