  1. Just as well it is not a hugely deep wheelybin 🙂
    He might have got lost.

  2. I can’t wait to get back down to the Southwest. It won’t be long now. Another man’s trash is the other man’s treasure. This boy was caught in the act of being himself. Great photo and haiku.

    Peace

  3. Very imaginitive.

    Have a good weekend, Boonie

  4. You were in the right spot at the right time to capture this! and I love your haiku. It’s an intention of mine to practice writing more haiku. It’s a wonderful discipline I think. yours are very nice.

  5. oo i like this one!

  6. oh, i hope he didn’t fall in! love the curiousity of a child! i’m still just as curious just a wee too careful!

  7. i too, have been an avid dumpster diver.
love this, so caught in the act! and you haiku?
    perfect gem.
    (hope he reached paydirt!)

  8. only a child could dig with such abandon for treasures in the trash….

  9. As they say ‘ all the best things in life are free’
sending love so freely to you,

    Sue x

  10. Sad to see children scrounging in dirt bins with the hope of finding something…. to fulfill their wants.Feels like some injustice to me. Then the Haiku becomes very touching if seen in this light.
