Beautiful! So calm, but also lonely. The naked tree seems to fit right in. And as always, perfect words to describe it!
Picture perfect sea
Lonely time twixt light and dark
Stands in solitude
Nice words for that time of the day/night !!
Relaxing… Heavenly… Beautiful!
Relaxing… Heavenly… Beautiful!
I love this part of the world…beautiful image and lovely haiku.
The tree looks like what we here in Norway call a “stumtjener”. I don’t know the English word… Coat stand??
Nice shot!
Very serene. ^_^
Beautiful photo of solitude 🙂 Happy weekend 🙂
Soft and lovely!

Thank you for the cute poem you left on my post.
Wonderful poem to go with that peaceful shot!

That was lovely! Thanks very much for stopping by and being the first one (and maybe the only one) to catch that double entendre. 🙂
Ah! ancient trees, overlooking the sea– the guardians and keepers of dreams and the unconscious memories of us all.
Lovely image and haiku.

Absolutely. I see the trees in the diatance standing in order along the tops of the hills in certain places I visit. This one is alone, doing its job. Wonderful photo and haiku.
Peace.
And yet the impression is one of serenity and beauty.
Thanks for this,
Sue x
Hi Magical~ I found it interesting that your avatar “Sentinel” meshed perfectly with your haiku and image here. Your coastal guard is bare and aware and not hiding his position. Bravo! Very a propos!
the smell of salty seas overwhelms me…. and the simple so profound….
Wow! Really a wonderful picture. Beautiful colours.
Lovely spot for sunsets 🙂
Wonderful picture !!
Oh, I love this picture and haiku. Love your “silly” poems and those ones that make you stop and think as well. Mickie
