  10. I would be elated to get a shot like that — or even to be in Seattle on a good day for taking pictures. Rare but wonderful!

  11. A different and interesting red flash to day.

  12. I can feel the energy in both the haiku and the image – nice!!

  13. perfect haiku for a great picture!

  14. Is it the inexorable lure of the sea
To pull its prodigal children home
(From sky to land and back they roam)
Or just the banal pull of gravity?

    Cheers!

  15. Great shot, MMT!
Thank you for visiting my WW post and leaving a wonderful Haiku. Would you mind if I use one of your Haikus on my blog some time? I would most definitely link it back to you, using your name. Let me know. I always enjoy your visits.
    Hugs, Cindy

  16. Second blog tonight quoting Ecclesiastes 1:7 – All the rivers run to the sea. Glad you have “elation” there – I don’t think that was part of Kohelet’s approach.

  17. Elation it is
    waters headed for the sea
    with a tint of red

Nice find, MMT. And I like your verse!
I’m doing this one for Ruby Tuesday. It’s been a while since I did it for Mary and the bunch.
    Happy RT!
