In My Innocence
In my innocence,
I thought the fog was water,
lily pads thick clouds.

I love your post. Short, sweet and simple. The flower is very pretty.
Splendid! I haven’t see a waterlily stand that tall before. A terrific shot.
Beautiful photo!

What a creative haiku. I enjoyed the read.
Hi MMT,
What a beautiful photo … the subject matter and the colors. Of course, your haiku fits perfectly.
Hope you have a wonderful Watery Wednesday!

Beautiful photo and Haiku to! What a lovely waterlily 🙂
Enchanting opening line introducing the flight of fancy!
What amazing awe. I am absolutely stunned by your ability to “seamlessly” have all your ideas bundle into a creative package. Beautiful photo, imagery, and idea. Look forward to reading more and more on a regular basis. Inspiring!
It is something special with water lilies 😉
perfect words for the image… love ’em both!
This morning, all the way to work, the road was thick with fog. People are still talking about the tornado.
A nice duo! I like your take on the prompt!

This is one of a kind…..so creative in thought, and just beautiful.
Your haiku makes me think, I like it.
From what I make of your haiku, innocence can lead to a lot of confusion, misapprehension; yeap, I agree. Innocence is not an altogether perfect state to be in. Haha.

Wow, I’ve never seen a water lily reach that high before! Very cool – nice use of the prompt too 😀
