  7. I like the thought, MMT, of being a flower even when the memories are bitter.
    Thinking of those, my bitter flower would be a Canadian Thistle. If I could have two, please, my sweet one would be a Blue Violet or a Kansas Sunflower.

  9. This poem says so much. I think I will put it up in my classroom if that is ok. The children would do well to read it and then try to emulate it. Lovely post.
