Everytime I see the USS Arizona. I get a chill. My father was tied right next to it. He was on the USS Neveda.

This is one photo that really touches the heart. Your capture is lovely. I loved your poetry in the comment you left me tonight. You are going to giggle about this. At 72, I have decided to TRY to write some Haiku. THe school librarian has loaned me some books so I can begin to learn the process. It is all because of you and how much I adore all that you write. I am determined before the summer is over to be able to write some. Keep your fingers crossed for me. genie

“voiceless spirits”….whoa, that tugged at the heart strings.

I’ve been there, and walked in awe. I think the part that got me was the oil that continues to surface yet today….it made me realize their lives were lost, but not in vain….
