  1. Yepp. I can also see the opportunities and the possibilities of a good life behind a worn façade. Not only forlorn luxury, but the beauty as it is.

  2. it does look battered. I wonder what past it has. Happy RT!

  3. A good haiku, and excellent picture to go with it.

  4. Great shot. I’m sure there are lots of stories behind it.

  5. Opportunity knocks on every door ^+^

    The wedding

  6. The unknown often makes us freeze in our tracks. What we don’t know stops us and we do not consider is that when we recognize opportunity, small and scary steps need to be taken. What lies on the other side of the door? We need to open the portal and peer inside – opportunity abounds if we shed our fears and merely take a look…

  7. Looks like a fixer upper for sure. Great capture for Ruby Tuesday, Mary!

  8. Great SOOC shot! Love it!

  17. You never know what goes on behind closed doors.

  18. So true and so lovely. It’s easy to only see a door as closed. I love that you saw beyond that and chose to use your lovely verse and digital camera to help us do so as well! Happy Rednesday. 🙂

  19. Open! Open! Open!
