  1. Perfect photo to get lost in time and place. Nicely done!

  2. I, too, would have been steered to this port. You know how I love the straight and linear. This shot is fine, and I love the colors. As usual, your words are perfection. Genie

  3. I guess the red stripe paints the way and the viewer is ultimately funneled to this arched portal. Nice architecture, I feel that I am on the chute that leads to the street outside…

  4. we share the same mexico lust!

  5. Love the faded multi-color archway. Great shot!

  6. I would be tempted to see where that alley goes. 🙂

  7. I love corners that are at odd angles (as in not blind!). they make me want to peek around them.

  8. Nice blog layout, enjoyed the pun on “strait”

  9. i wonder where it leads to..have a good week!

  10. Picturesque narrow and steep street. I like the red and the complimentary green. I also admire the modest pastels over the arch. It take guts to paint pastel colours, hoping one will be seen, even though the work is hardily noticeable.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful red ribbon poem.
I picture you with all shades of red in a thick, dark and curly hair.
    Great.

  11. Very nice! Picture perfect!

  12. hmmm…. it would be hard work steering through that narrow strip without scrapping a little of the wall.

  13. I love this shot. Happy RT!

    Mine’s here.

  14. It may be a place straight and narrow, but that arched passageway is what makes the shot, I think!

  15. awesome haiku and wonderful photo

  16. ooh your words are perfect for this picture. It makes me want to see where it all ends up.

  17. Your poetry is just always perfect for each photo you share! And in answer to your question about whether I found everything at one garage sale, the answer is that I had to drive to 14 different sales to find it all. Sometimes it seems it’s not worth it, with all of the gas I use!
    Happy REDnesday,
    Carol

  18. Into the unknown. Love this shot.

  19. I have no direction,, so no telling what I would do in a place like this.

  20. I enjoyed your unique perspective in this haiku. Nicely written.

  21. Beautiful photo and words.

  22. No wonder they say love is blind.

You didn’t notice the paints that were chipped off.

  23. Love straight places too!
Thanks for sharing your lovely shot and words;o)

    Happy day***

  24. Thanks for the Red Ribbons poem you left on my blog. I love it. I also love your photo above. Very intriguing. I want to know what’s on the other side of that arch.

  25. Another wonderful pic ! It draws you in & makes you wonder what is going on further down that alley . 8~)

  26. Makes me wonder what’s on the other side!
