Hurrying homeward,
she dropped her red plastic spoon.
Will the lost be found?

  1. Nice, very nice. Happy Ruby Tuesday.

  2. Who (or what) is the lost one?
    Really nice photo

  3. Opps…not a rubbish leaver…just a forgotten item. It really does stand out on the stone bench. This is such a unique capture. You were really on the ball this time not to miss it. Genie

  4. Terrific Ruby Tuesday shot!! 🙂

  5. odd but interesting shot, again:)

  6. Love all the texture represented by the wall, the walkway and the bench.
    She….hmmm….
A perfect image for a story prompt. 🙂
    A wonderful capture.

  7. Great shot and framing! Thanks for the poem in your comment.

  9. Such a cute moment and beautiful idea from an observation!

  10. HI there, wow, great thought you have there .. maybe not… 🙂 thank for the drop 🙂

  16. Great find and composition. That spoon begs to be noticed

  17. Is that a bottle cap next to it? Hmm…ice cream and beer? Wonderful shot with great lighting and textures and an element of mystery!

  18. Loved your short, simple and to the point feature today. You are so clever.

  19. This is a great photo, MMT~ similar to the French surrealist “objets trouves.” And how the red spoon stands out in this grey world of concrete! “Will the lost be found?” is such a profound question when you think about it, standing alone… Really artistic post. (Noticed that cute little chimp on the end of the bench!)

  20. However did she finish her frozen yogurt? Or was it ice cream? I guess we’ll never know!
    Happy REDnesday,
    Carol

  22. Love the haiku and the picture. The fragile, red, shiny plastic standing beautifully out from the rough, but everlasting stone bench. I do hope a little girl picks up the spoon, wash it and use it to feed her favourite doll red currants with sugar.

  23. what a great find for RT!

  24. An evocative and intriguing Haiku. Love it and the photo.

  25. Wonderful pic , does makes you wonder who left it ?

  26. Such an interesting photo, and love the accompanying haiku. Nice!

  27. Beautiful – both the shot and the haiku. Love the simplicity of your bl;og’s appearance as well 🙂

  28. Cool photo! Did she lose it or just litter? who knows?

    Love your accompanying words.

Happy belated Ruby Tuesday ~ I’m playing this week again. Waiting for Mr. Linky.
