Gently breathe and muse:
though playbills bloom like roses,
here no wheat will sprout.

  1. My hubby is a teacher too, he teaches at a christian school where my boys go to and where I work in the nursery.

Hi, I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

  2. This was one of the themes for my A level art exam (some 20+ years ago!!). It was about the layers on advertising hoardings like this. I was going to do this one, but gave up on it and tried another. Big mistake! I’m such a layer girl these days.

  3. A very interesting bill board. I like your haiku. It’s a poetry form that I have never tried (not that I write much poetry.)

  4. Great use of one prompt word for all poems. Lovely Haiku.

  5. The stars of today (in their minds, at least…) leave advertisements of those of the past. Naturally, talent is intergenerational, so the old and new mingle under glass. With sounds that transcend the ages…

  6. wow, this is a great find … love your lines too.. was here for RT.. 🙂

  7. That’s pretty!

My Mellow Yellow, please take a peek. Thanks!

  8. Playbills like roses! What a comparison:)

  9. Great find. Happy RT!

    Mine’s here.

  10. You always seem to share some of the most fascinating shots. Putting your words with it, really makes for a great post.

  11. You have a wonderful way to combine many prompts, MMT 🙂 Liked it.. the photograph too..
