Advent: Day 24

Photobucket

Come and see what God has done: he is terrible in his deeds among men. He turned the sea into dry land; men passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him…

Psalm 66:5-6, Revised Standard Version

Spirit, turn the seas
and rivers into dry land,
so we may pass through.

  1. Love how the grip of the sole in the footprint is defined enough to cast a mini world of shadows! Lovely haiku!

  2. good luck.

    a fine piece.

  3. It’s astounding how we can find the Almighty in the smallest of places, yet humankind often finds the need to confine him to a small box with boundaries.

  4. we can pass though rivers in a boat

  5. Wonderful! Can you imagine what that must have been like? Wonder and awe!!!!

  6. Beautifully chosen direction!
