Icy Morsels

Photobucket

He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

Psalm 147:16-17, King James Version

These icy morsels—
who can stand before such cold?
Only sturdy souls!

  1. Such beautiful shapes, words, thoughts.

  2. Moi? No, not me!! I’m definitely not a sturdy soul.

  3. Beautiful photo for a winter watery Wednesday. I’m a lover of this season–it’s good for the soul. Summer, on the other hand, depresses me.

  4. Lots of ice around here after rain yesterday and freezing temperatures today.

  5. I wish I’d get some ice & snow! Winter is my favorite season, but this winter makes me sad!

  6. I like your icy crystals–it takes a “sturdy soul” to weather the winds, ice, and snow of winter. Mickie 🙂

  7. Very nice … I like “sturdy soul”

  8. Unusual for your neck of the woods! A sturdy soul indeed.
