Who can love the frost,
gripping stone and twig and dust
in its deathly vise?

  14. Man, who can’t love the frost? All the seasons have their place, though I must confess to a favourite (in verse! of course :P) – http://beespoetry.wordpress.com/2011/04/14/the-seasons-personified/

  15. ME!!! I love frost and snow and ice!! Winter is my favorite season!! The frost and ice are all sparkly and the actual lines and bones of things aren’t hidden under haze, and leaves and stuff. you can see the wonderful lines of the trees. I love the slightly blueish light that the sun gives in winter. I love how breathing the cold air feels!!

  16. Who could NOT love the frost when it presents itself in such a beautiful manner? Great picture, and, as always, terrific haiku!
