The composition of this image is lovely – from the sky to the shadows at the bottom!

  9. I don’t think wordpress is letting me comment.
I’ll try again – the composition of the image is lovely from the sky down to the shadows!

  10. Beautiful contrast with the cactus. Lovely word picture too.

  11. Beautiful combination of cactus rising and blossoms falling! And the sky is a wonderful, intense blue!

  12. aaahhh, I love the heat in that picture…blue sky, flowers, warm adobe wall. Here in the cold chilly rainforest of the NW, we all have SUN and HEAT envy.

  13. Colourful picture, colourful words! Nice.

  14. Lovely bright and sunny picture. Those red flowers make a nice contrast witht he sky and foliage.

Thanks for your continuing participation in Floral friday fotos!

  15. Sky High Blue Sky–Now that is pretty!

    John

  16. That is a really gorgeous picture!

  17. They are gorgeous!

  18. What a lovely sight to see cactus with pretty red as a background.

  19. The story about the beauty and the beast? Only the cactus, when rarely blooming, surpasses any other flower. We used to have one called the “Queen of the Night”, only blooming for 24 hours. The flower was indescribably beautiful.
Now I like the cactus for its many forms and shapes.

  20. The desert blooms – the most beautiful and colorful flowers are engulfing their cacti hosts. If only for a short while…

  21. ah that is cute….those words…romantic…

  22. So pretty – that red really pops against the green!

  23. Interesting combination of flora! Somehow I was surprised to see the flowers encroaching on the cactus! Nice photo!

  24. the blossoms are a wonderful contrast to the cactus

  25. Ah, but will they tell us the truth? 😉

  26. the red blossoms can’t tell… said it’s a mystery 🙂

  27. Beautiful haiku.

    Regards and best wishes
