Here is a wonder—
no matter how high you climb,
still the way goes on.

  1. Oh my aching knees!

  2. Very nice photo, it goes well with the haiku. I like the metaphor of “climbing” and the steps in the photo 🙂

  3. This reminds me of the tourist town I stayed in, in Italy several years ago. The town was on the top of a hill…I think the only flowers were in pots. everything was old stone. The buildings and the narrow steps. Thanks reviving the memory.

  4. Awesome! Lovely picture (again 🙂 )MMT and a nice haiku too. The stairs I associate with growing.

  5. This reminds me of Spain… I like the idea of the way going on…there is something unexpected and something waiting to be discovered…

  6. This is very thoughtful….I loved it…!
    very appropriate for the prompt

  7. Reminds me of the climb to the castle of many a Spanish town hereabouts.

  8. Lovely shot. I don’t know how long I can keep climbing.

    Moms…Check Nyo

  9. Wow, looks like eternal passage.

My RUBY, would love it if you could drop by and leave me a comment or two. Thanks in advance!

  10. So true. Maybe there is not top at the top.

  11. Such a quaint and real life picture. There is something so special about it. The passageway does appear to go on and on. Lovely capture. genie
