Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

  1. Sometimes a fruitful blessing is prickly on the outside.

I’ve never seen cactus fruit like this. It’s pretty.

  2. Beautiful photo and very appropriate to my Sunday.

  3. I like that. Something I will see here in Canada. A terrific shot!

  4. This is so pretty!

  5. Wonderful picture. And yes, sometimes there’s danger to be overcome to reach the fruit. Please have a good start into the new week. And thank you very much for your kind participation.

  6. Pretty color! Although it’s prickly, it is a beautiful thing.

  7. Such a beautiful shot and flower.

  8. Lovely text for your photo. Afraid, your photo reminds me of all the sprouting potatoes I had to cutup and plant growing up.

  9. Great shot and beautiful haiku

  10. It’s a neat picture if not a little willy-inducing! Sheesh!

  11. There in the desert
    Even the cactus blossoms,
    Bringing forth new life.

    Cheers!

  12. Hi there – what a great fruit – biodiversity at its best!
