  1. When I was fourteen
I went to San Miguel and
    Guanajuato. ¡Si!

  2. Interesting shots of San Miguel — have to admit I like the inside of the city the best though! Love those blue, blue skies though! Hope you have a great weekend!

  3. Looks kind of deserted

  4. The sky is Blue, bit it feels chiily. Something was lost in there.

  5. Very mysterious sight … love the adventure of empty buildings exploring.

  6. Looks very deserted! I love shooting such buildings…

  7. It seems from your posts that much of the area is fenced in one way or another. Maybe to help keep folks out of these desolate areas and empty buildings. Thanks for giving us the ‘local’ scene.

  8. So wonderul and magical photo! Have a nice Friday, and nice weekend! 🙂

  9. Sad to see them, but a great playground for the kids.

  10. Your photos are always so intriguing. I always wonder what you are thinking when you take them.

  11. Interesting shot – and I love the haiku as always.

  12. I had all sorts of thoughts while looking at the photo. Some inspired by the comments others had left, but your words sum it up when the children are mentioned. Happiness indeed with the sighting of the lizards and mice. When did you go to San Miguel? We will be joining Rebecca in late October for a trip there. We can’t wait!

    Peace my friend

  13. MMT as always..nostalgic..as children we would often enter such an old building near our school..it used be scary fun.. well done.. as usual..RS:)

  14. definitely a place my cousin and I would explore when we were 10……a great shot and wonderful haiku…..

  15. What a great double metaphor, memories of childhood, and childhood memories – you amaze as usual.

  22. Great shot! The haiku leaves me feeling so sad.

  23. That is a real hotchpotch of a fence. I was in an empty building today – well empty apart from me and the skittering mice!
