  1. Wonderful picture indeed. And yes, there’s always a different taste to a city before it awakes fully. Please have a good new month ahead.
(PsalmChallenge will continue after its summer break from September 2nd on.)

  2. I love early mornings. Especially when it’s sunny, like here! And just a few people are out and about.

Hope you have a great shadow-seeking week!

  3. Cricket chimes. Just so good. Always a new way to perceive things; always written just the right way.

  4. I love this picture. At first I thought your title was ‘Breakdown in San Miguel’ so I thought the girl was crying. Then I figured it out. Silly me! I love that the crickets are chiming in.

Isn’t it hilarious how we sometimes misread things? 🙂

I like your misreading, by the way.

  5. there really is nothing like early morning in san miguel,
the cricket was there to assure you, you were not dreaming!

  6. Visiting from Carry On Tuesday. Your Haiku makes me want to experience daybreak San Miguel! Nicely worded.

  7. Warm and unexpected. So much life here.

  8. lovely photo…vibrant colors…a sense of another world unlike the overcast pacific northwest. the temp will rise this week…and the colors in my garden will be that much brighter! have a nice week!

  11. the dyed dried flowers are attractive. this scene could very well be in Manila.:p

  12. Daybreak is a special time anywhere but must be even more so in Mexico with all the vibrant colours. I do love this shot, the early morning traders setting up stall, I used to stand the market myself in my young married life, pin money they used to call it! The mornings were such a peaceful time before the hurried costumers formed their lines waiting for their pound of cheese, that’s what I sold!

There you have it almost a blog post thanks for prompt, have a good week. x

  13. Beautiful shot. Love it.

  18. a photo of another’s back
always melts my heart with tenderness…
they are clueless to what we see
    … this is the human*side
    unrehearsed …

  23. Beautiful photo! It is perfectly described by the quote you selected. Happy Blue Monday!

  24. For me your photo has beautifully captured that sense of silent, and somehow intimate, bonding with other early morning inhabitants…in addition to the wonderfully vivid colours and sleepy shadows!

  25. A beautiful, shadowy moment! A wonderful feeling of quiet serenity!

  26. The night has been quiet as the sounds of the daytime will soon intrude upon this peaceful scene. So we, like the worker, can enjoy the solitude for a bit as we get caught up in the daily noise. Breathe in the soft sounds…

  27. Great shot and the girl is surely wearing something BLUE:)

Visiting for Blue Monday- hope you can stop by..
