    That is a very forbidding fence, but the landscape helps soften it…and the words, as always, are so fitting.

    Love the reference here. When I saw the photo, before I read the haiku, I was thinking of what it was designed for, to keep something in, or to keep something out. I realized that the sands as well as many creations, the crawlers and winged ones, can be neither. Cool!
