Her Three Poems

One of her poems
portrayed an inner battle
no one else could see.
~~ ~~ ~~
One of her poems,
like windshield washer fluid,
flushed the filth away.
~~ ~~ ~~
One of her poems
she used to harvest readers—
swift and sharp her scythe.

  1. I love all three of these

  2. I love the first. Sometimes this can be so true!

  3. Made me think of the U2 lyric (not sure if that is a compliment or not..hopefully so!)..vampire or a victim it depends on whose around..very sharp words..and an idea i could really connect with..

  4. What a glorious set of haiku. Succinct, amusing yet telling a story of extreme emotion.

  5. ALL of your poems harvest readers. Excellent work!

  6. Harvesting readers with a scythe is an unusual concept. Sounds lethal:)

  7. All of her poems
    Comprise a dark and veiled
    Window to her soul
