  2. This is such a lovely blossom seems it deserves a better name than creosote, which makes me think of tar and unpleasant smells, but I suppose there is a reason. Perfect haiku.

      It probably does deserve a better name, especially considering its fragrance: sweet and delicious!

  7. Wilderness tranquility sounds so inviting when one in my neck of the world has to settle for a slender strip of woods still within throwing distance of cars and noise!

      If it’s any consolation, I can hear freight trains rumbling by–several per hour–not even a mile away!
