  1. WOW! What an imagery, MMT! 🙂

  2. each word is perfect
    each completes the next

  3. The color of the sky with the leafless tree is so dramatic. Mesmerizing, really, in spite of, or perhaps because of, the weary(hazy) sun! PS I’m stealing ‘smudged, ‘ another wonderful word.

  4. ah the essence of night ….soon the preying owl ~ lovely nature haiku ~ Enjoy ^_^

  5. moody and a bit ominous
    really well done

  6. Love. I don’t know the right words other than I just love this. Each word.

  7. And the owl rules the night !!!

  8. perfect description of hazy sunshine – ‘smudged and weary’….lovely and moody, pic and poem

  9. Oh yes I agree that smudged is a great word… No time to steal it though..

  10. Wonderful, atmospheric scene!

  11. The smudged sun IS wonderful as everyone agrees, but the lacy tree branches captivate me.
