When the desert blooms,

  1. Ah, so very true!!!
I haven’t been to the dessert in spring in a very long time, but the memory stays with you.
    ~Dawn

  2. That is the sound of the spirit rejoicing…
    I am alive!

  3. I love the time of year when the palo verdes are in bloom – it lights up the entire desert with spring fever!

  4. Wonderful, beautiful, exquise! Both the photo as the haiku. I though about you yesterday, as I made a collage on which I used a beautiful text/line about the desert. I can’t remember what it said exactly but I plan on publishing it next Wednesday. I’m sure I will think of you again then, and visit you to let you know it’s on my blog. Until then! Happy Easter!

  5. PaloVerde trees are my favorite. Gloriam Deo: fallen blooms are scattered gold dust.

  6. You and the desert are one! It yields its beauty to you.

  7. I have never been to a desert when it was in bloom but now I must add this magical place to my list. Glory to God, indeed!

  8. perfect unfurling, perfect song!
