  1. {{ do hummingbirds worship
    in this desert location ?? }}

  2. Didn’t know what these were called…I was admiring some yesterday in our library xeriscape garden.

  3. gorgeous blooms & a fence too. nice!! ( ;

  4. flowers with the fence behind is really nice!

  5. A favorite flower in my yard, they like CA heat!
    Lovely haiku!

  6. great color on the blooms, but as a resting place….not so much of an oasis…

  7. Love the color for a rest. Reminds me of pineapple sage plant.

  8. Love the red.
    Love the words chapel and weary…

  9. Especially if those weary ones are hummingbirds lost in the desert! I so look forward to my visits here because of chapels…flowers….weary monks…desert gold…..big skies…. bread for the journey……and so much more…a true resting place for the weary! Thank you!

  10. Really a kindly light that shows the way along the dull and dreary desert road!! Lovely picture and amazing words!!

  11. Those spiky flowers go well with a barbed wire fence! They do soften the view.

  12. Such a simple and peaceful composition. Just the right amount of color.
