  1. Yes, like a painting as always! Great composition and lovely shadow shot! Enjoy your weekend!

  2. But I can’t help but wonder what the contemplation is…my imagination spins.

  3. Loving the dappled shadows.

  4. i will never ever, ever tire of looking at the lovely lines of trees. thanks MMT, you’ve given me my tree fix for the day!!!

  5. The trees look to be tussling with each other – a friendly exchange though. The shadows are equally friendly!

  6. Summer is always in your shots and that makes me happy when our weather is not playing with us.

    Happy SSS2,
    /CC girl

  7. Love the idea of “wilderness gardens” – almost an oxymoron! Beautiful ambience in this photo!

  8. Ah! What a joy … nice photo, but the haiku is really nice … strong imagery of the coming of Autumn. Thank you MMT for this gem.

  9. I can hear that brittle grass crunching under my boot!

    Melting Leaf

  10. Love the meanings in your haiku. And just love the haiku.

  11. Nice nature shot with really random forms only mastered by nature. Like it

  12. noooo! not autumn yet!

  13. Nice lines in those trees.

  14. oh Wow!!!

    much love…

  15. A blackbird’s black thoughts maybe?
