The dancers allege
that nothing can take the place
of an all-night whirl.

~~ ~~ ~~

The dancers conceal
their true purpose in whirling
from midnight to sunrise.

~~ ~~ ~~

The dancers propose
a toast to the old fiddler,
who keeps them whirling.
