The Sitar Player’s Encore

original

The sitar player,
to amplify her music,
strikes galactic notes.

~~ ~~ ~~

The sitar player
has no words to criticize
even her weak notes.

~~ ~~ ~~

Hear the sitar moan
from the distant galaxy,
sounding bleak, forlorn.
