  1. WOW! This is … I am speechless. Great photo.

  2. This is a thought-provoking photo. Wonder what the hapless lamb did….. or did not….. to leave his bones there. That indigo flower is awesome.

  3. I admire your skill at getting the 7-7 syllable count without the words seeming forced. You do it with your haiku too. Kudos!

Thank you, although I found this prompt to be very difficult!. The only thing that came to mind at first was a piano, and I haven’t yet located a destroyed piano in the desert!

  4. Image and poem – move across the mind like the wind itself.

  5. Oh no-a telling picture!Time erases everything-cruel yet true!Great completion-as always:-)

  6. What is to be expected in a desert – remnants and reminders of its harshness. Nicely MMT!

  7. I wonder, did someone perhaps eat the lamb with Chopsticks?

    sultry casablanca bar

  8. your ending is surprising and soulful

    much love…

  9. unique take on your completion ~ well penned ~ thanks, carol, xxx

  10. Very nice, and as always I love how rooted your haiku are in a specific place.

  11. this is really terrific, both the completion and the photograph. ☺

  12. Oh, I LIKE your take on the prompt…thank you.
    Peace

  13. Almost like a funeral for the little lamb… very nice contrast.
