  4. Three shades of blue in this one shot.

    Happy Blue Monday!

  5. I love seeing the different shrines to Mary that you find. This one emanates warmth and coziness, as I felt on my momma’s lap.

  6. This photo is a favorite of mine…
and Quietude is the best of words!
    ♥ ♥ ♥

  7. A backyard shrine–how wonderful! So many love our Lady and so many don’t know her!

  8. That sure is a honey of grace! What a SWEET find. We have an Algodones here in NM too.

  9. How touching it is to see this humble home in Baja complete with a personal shrine to Our Lady. Because of L.A.’s proximity to Baja, we spent a lot of time there in earlier years when our kids were growing up. But, it was mostly in the towns of Rosarito, La Mision and Ensenada. I wasn’t as attuned to Our Lady then as I am now. I love your photograph and the haiku describing it.

  10. I visited Mexicali in the mid-70’s. I’d like to go back today and see it with entirely different eyes.

  11. Can you believe that they are still publishing the Saturday Evening Post? http://com-sub.info/The-Saturday-Evening-Post/Welcome

    Thanks for your comment.
