  1. So poignant! We have seen a lot of this kind of thing out on the desert.

  2. I always look at places like this as “fixer-uppers”. Have fixed up a lot of such places in my time. I love the landscape – looks quite a bit like the Okanagan, where I grew up.

  3. Hi,

Thanks for sharing your talents. That blue sky is stunning.

    Happy Blue Monday!

  4. love the ‘honey of grace’ ~ you are enlightened and blessed ~ Yin and Yang type photo ~ Beauty and the Beast etc ~ great shot ~ thanks, carol, xxx

  5. Silence in a home – when its a honeyd one of comfort… very enjoyable..

  6. WP just swallowed my comment! I’ll try again! When I read the poem, without looking at the photo, I could easily relate to the ‘pure honey of grace’ to be found in an empty home. After studying the photo for a bit, I felt challenged to discover the meaning of grace in the context of the photo! Thank you for this!

  7. places like this always make me sad. Somebody lived here working hard for their daily bread.

  8. That special time caught beautifully!

  9. The home looks as if it is locked in its last story and now just watches stories pass by. Beautiful perspective.

What you’ve written is more than a mere comment, Gemma—it’s a line of pure poetry. Thank you for this gift.

  10. Nice shot. Love the perspective.
