Trio

original

Faithful companion,
come, let us weed the garden—
the nights grow colder.

~~ ~~ ~~

Isolate the words
that pierce, provoke and anger—
let them starve to death.

~~ ~~ ~~

Scrutinize each line
of Pound or Poe or Whitman
for hidden treasures.

  2. Well done.

  3. 1.intriguing.2.why? we need some challenge. 3.Cool, but the root of scru…proposed dif meaning. ~ Fun!

Thanks for your words of affirmation. Sometimes I’m so tired when I write that I’m not even sure the end product makes sense!

  5. Love what you have done with the words this week. My favorite is the Isolate the words

  6. I like the last one best. One forgets what can be learned from the old masters. Being a little curious can help uncover gems!
    Good thoughts MMT!

    Hank

  7. Whilst I agree with the sentiments of the last two I think the best place when the nights grow colder is cuddling inside in the warm…the weeding can wait.

  8. Well , you need to discover permaculture and you will never have to weed again. I like the words you want to kill….give them to me instead …I will find a use for them:)

  9. I really like the second one. If only we could always starve to death those words that provoke anger.

  10. a most enjoyable trio…..
