  1. Beautifully refreshing.

    long the homeward way
    weary pilgrims pause to rest
    in spring’s bounteous shade

  2. After a long, cold, snowy winter, the first signs of spring are a welcome sight.

I’m grateful that snow here in the Sonoran Desert is a rarity—about once every 50 years, if that. I’m shocked that the rest of the country has had so much of the white stuff this year!

  3. What a beautiful shot! Love the DoF on this one. I was just in Arizona. Unfortunately, I didn’t see too many wildflowers for this time of year. Happy spring and skywatching!

  4. yes.
to bloom is a comfort to everyone.
your haiku is a welcoming light
    showing the way.

  5. Desert flowers always amaze me. Still, even though I now know they exist and are beautiful.

  6. I so love this resting stop… and this shower of beauty to refresh my soul!

  7. May you feel refreshed and nurtured by these blossoms on the journey.

  8. Showers of blossoms or showers of leaves; beautiful signs of transition from one season to the next, one phase of life to the nexgt.

  9. Thank you for showering me with yellow! I won’t see that color here for a few more weeks! A sight for winter weary travelers!

  10. Spring has sprung!!! Love the yellow against the blue!! Nice photo!
