  2. memories can be tricky things…

  3. Oh the stories that wagon wheel could tell!
    Really great photo 🙂

  4. We drove along much of what would have been the Oregon trail. I can not imagine how difficult that trip would have been. Great photo.

  5. I can just imagine how much the riders of these wagons appreciated a bright blue sky when traveling.

  6. As they say, memories warm you up and can tear you up too! Nice one…MMT!

  7. there is something about old wagon wheels that draws me to them. perhaps it’s the idea of traveling or even pioneering- what brave souls the pioneers were with their traveling to the unmapped regions!

  8. Memories are testimonies of how one survives the adverse situations. Nicely MMT!

  9. Funny, I can recall going certain places when it was bitterly cold and that is the most vivid part of the memory!!

  10. Very nice sense of depth and complexity of feeling tone in this one.

  11. Yes, I have had one or two of those kind of trips….not necessarily bad either.

  12. Trips leave us with long lasting memories 🙂

  13. It seems to be one of the memorable trips. Beautiful Haiku. 🙂

  14. I like the rhythm of this, the sound on winter/wind.

  15. That is the beauty of memories, they linger… Nicely done MMT.
